In the link to the interview above, I had the chance to connect with Dr. Andrew Ray Williams. He spent around four years trying to better understand the role of water baptism in the Pentecostal experience, and within the broader Christian traditions. He studied this topic from so many angles – as a pastor, a scholar, and as a lay person thinking about this topic. I asked him several questions and he has a really unique and helpful perspective as we try to navigate understanding water baptism, not just as a Pentecostal, but as a Christian.
