The past year has certainly been a whirlwind of changes for me and my family. In following the Lord’s lead, I resigned from my role at the college I was teaching at, Master’s College and Seminary. As you may know, I was teaching there for a decade, from 2014-2024, teaching courses in the Bible and Theology, and I was also the director of the worship and creative arts major. It was my absolute privilege to invest in students and work with my colleagues there. If you’re one of the students or colleagues I got to work with at Master’s, I’m grateful for you big time! But as I began to seek the Lord the past year, I realized I needed to resign and follow the Lord’s leading into lead pastoring.
I eventually took on the role of lead pastor at an amazing church in the Greater Toronto Area, Christian Life Centre in Ajax, Ontario.
Last year I had the privilege to share at the last chapel service in the school’s building in Peterborough. It was there that I shared a messaged entitled, “My Top 10 Lessons for Life and Ministry.” I hope this message encourages you as I reflected on lessons on life and ministry I’ve learned over the years, and how it might be helpful for others.
