Rev. Dr. Josh P. S. Samuel

Josh is the Lead Pastor at Christian Life Centre in Ajax, Ontario. He’s an ordained minister, theologian, and author. He completed his Ph.D. in Theology at McMaster Divinity College (Canada), and is an ordained minister with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. He was a full time professor teaching Bible and Theology at Master’s College and Seminary (Canada) for 10 years (2014-2024). He has taught Ethics, Church History I, Church History II, Jesus and the Gospels, the Pentateuch, Hebrew History, The Church and Its Future, Theology of Worship and Creative Arts, Foundations of Theology, and Soteriology at Master’s College and Seminary; Major Movements in Church History for Universidad Teológica Pentecostal Cuba/Master’s College and Seminary (Cuba); and the Pentateuch at Zion Bible College (India). His research interests include Pentecostal theology and history, corporate worship, homiletics, the Great Awakenings, and world religions. He was the Young Adults Pastor for five years (2001-2006) at Malvern Christian Assembly in Toronto, Canada. He also served for three years (2008-2010) on the Board of Governors at Tyndale University College and Seminary in Canada.

He has a passion for teaching and preaching God’s Word, and has had opportunities to do so in schools, churches, and conventions in various contexts. He is grateful for his wonderful wife, Joyce, two sons, and one daughter, who bring much joy to the family. Both Josh and Joyce have a passion to serve others both in Canada and abroad through their vocations.
